Microbiology Announcements (Microbiol. Announce.) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the rapid publication of original research across all areas of microbiology. The journal is published online by Infinity-IPC (ISSN 0000-0000) and complies with the open-access standards established by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
The journal publishes three article types: Omics Announcements, Outbreak Announcements, and Microbial Announcements. Submissions may include, but are not limited to, reports on emerging and re-emerging outbreaks, novel microbial features, genome sequences of microorganisms, metagenomics, metabolomics, proteomics, culture collections, publicly available databases, software tools, protocols, and analytical workflows.
